Carrots are a particularly good source of beta-carotene which your body converts into Vitamin A, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants. They are also low on calories and are important for growth, development, and immune function.

Carrots also supply a good supply of Biotin which is an A B vitamin formerly known as vitamin H. It plays an important role in fat and protein metabolism.

Potassium is an essential mineral for blood pressure management and is abundant in carrots, as well as B6 which is involved in the conversion of food into energy.
